Help End Human Trafficking in NE Ohio
Last month, Dr. Jesse Bach, Executive Director for The Imagine Foundation, spoke to a group of Parma area pastors and ministry leaders about the growing human trafficking and child slavery problem in northeast Ohio. Bach said, “It’s not just happening ‘over there.’ It is happening right here in our local community.”
Heroin: Taking Back Our Community
At the recent Parma Area Ministerial Forum in May, one of the topics of discussion was heroin and its impact on our community. During the meeting, I asked the group of pastors and ministry leaders whether or not their congregations had been touched by the heroin problem. Nearly all in attendance confirmed that it had.
2016 Community Ambassador Scholarship

PCSD Offers Free Summer Meals for Children
Sometimes children of families in need go hungry during the summer months. During the school year these children are enrolled in the “free and reduced lunch” program sponsored by the Federal Government, but during the summer the young people may end up missing an important meal.
