Pastors & Ministry Leaders, mark your calendar!  We will be holding our next Parma Area Ministerial Forum on Monday, February 29, at 9:00 AM (Coffee and refreshments will be available at 8:30 AM).  PLEASE NOTE:  We will be meeting at a new location!

The meeting will be held at:  Cornerstone of Hope, 5905 Brecksville Rd., Independence, OH  44131.

These round-table meetings are a great opportunity for you to engage with other local pastors and ministries on issues affecting our community, as well learn about resources that may help to strengthen your ministry and outreach efforts.

If you are unable to attend, we hope that you will send a representative from your organization. As always, your presence and input are what make these forums so valuable and productive.

AMY MITCHELL, Director of Ministry Engagement
Building Hope in the City

Amy Mitchell, Director of Ministry Engagement at Building Hope in the City, will be our guest of honor at the next Parma Area Ministerial Forum. Amy will be sharing about the Open Table Model and how its use has helped transform the lives of many in northeast Ohio and around the nation.

In her current role, Amy spends most of her time assisting volunteers in finding a place to unleash their passions and gifts, training those volunteers for service, assisting with program development and implementation, planning servant events and retreats, and helping the church to embrace its role as a beacon of hope in dark places.

For the last 25 years, Amy has also served in various roles in the world of congregational and nonprofit ministry, ranging from Pastor’s wife, Director of Children & Families, Director of Small Groups & Women’s Development, Worship Leader, Choir Director, Stephen’s Minister, to Small Group Leader, Coach & Trainer. Her primary focus in all of those positions has been the development and nurturing of leaders and the strengthening of the family.
