- To inspire & inform local pastors & church leaders -

Fresh Forks Market is the newest partner of Community Ambassadors. I recently had the opportunity to visit with the company’s CEO and founder Trevor Clatterbuck, a local entrepreneur who graduated from Case Western University. He began with the intention of connecting local farmers to local restaurants, but soon saw the desire for local food reached beyond restaurants.
Fresh Fork market is a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) that allows customers to pick up a bag of fresh, local ingredients every week in the summer. Their motto is “Local provisions for modern domestic living.” Trevor provides farm fresh food to roughly 3,000 weekly subscribers and he and his employees travel in a 75-mile radius of the Cleveland area to gather select fresh in season food. They provide local produce; pasture raised meats and artisan cheeses. He works closely with 108 different family owned farms. His passion for food has encouraged many people to eat locally and to think about where their food comes from.
We at Community Ambassadors are passionate about food rescue and seeing food repurposed to meet the needs of those in the community. We have collaborated with Fresh Fork Market to gather food that would have otherwise ended up with freezer burn and turn it into meals for the Pay it Forward Café. We look forward to continued collaboration with Fresh Fork Market as we endeavor to end hunger in our community. You can checkout more about Fresh Fork Market at www.freshforkmarket.com
