The melting snow is a welcomed change around here.  As winter fades and spring teases us with momentary peaks of sunshine and warmer temps, we at Community Ambassadors are preparing for other transitions.

 

As you may know, Parmatown Mall, which we have called home since 2011, will no longer be our operating location after April 1.  While many of our initiatives do not require any brick-and-mortar, one of our staple programs, Pay It Forward Cafe, does necessitate a physical location to operate.  As our time at Parmatown Mall has wound down, our foremost concern has been that a program like the Cafe would come to an unfortunate end.

 

Nevertheless, I am pleased to announce that we have partnered with Pastors Dan and Lynnette Short from New Life Fellowship on 5994 Ridge Road to be the host site for Pay It Forward Cafe.  One of our desires has been to maintain the Cafe at a location in central Parma where accessibility would not be a challenge.  This new location and increased task force will allow us more resources and increased opportunities to continue being an effective outreach to many of our local residents who are in need of services.

 

I want to thank New Life Fellowship for their commitment to serving our community with the love of Christ.  We are looking forward with great anticipation to this next new season.  We are also looking forward to some more sunshine, too!
