When Community Ambassadors was formed in 2010, there were no pre-conceived ministries or outreaches in mind.  We did not emerge by launching a food pantry or clothing drive or homeless ministry just because it seemed like the “thing” to do to get our feet wet in serving the community.  Rather, we made a commitment to, first, learn about our community.....

Community Collaboration

Community Ambassadors is a Christ-centered, compassion-driven nonprofit organization committed to promoting and facilitating greater collaboration in order to effectively empower lives, strengthen families, and build better communities.

A couple of weeks ago, Community Ambassadors was proud to be involved in a 2-day Strategic Planning Session for the Parma City School District.  Those in attendance ranged from school administrators, teachers, and students to civic leaders, community partners, and business owners.  The purpose of this 2-day session, led and moderated by the Santa Rita Collaborative, was to formulate a strategy for the Parma City Schools that would be reflective of the community.

From time to time, we are asked how churches can get connected with our local schools and serve them in a relevant, practical way.  If you are not already involved in some way, here is a great opportunity to get engaged.  Below are a number of ways you can make a difference right now.  If there is a project or need listed below that you are interested in, please contact the person listed with that need/project.
