It has been an incredibly busy month for Community Ambassadors! Over the past few weeks, we having been packing and moving the Pay It Forward Cafe program out of Parmatown Mall to its new location at New Life Fellowship on 5994 Ridge Road.  Right off the bat, I would like to give an enormous thanks to the leadership and members of New Life Fellowship that have blessed us immensely through this transition and have helped to ensure that the operations of the Cafe continues without skipping a beat.

 

Our first Saturday at New Life Fellowship was on April 5th. Compared to our former location, the new site offers patrons a larger space and a more comfortable atmosphere to eat and fellowship.  With this increased capacity and additional resources, I believe we will see Pay It Forward Cafe continue to grow and bless local individuals and families in the Parma and surrounding area in much greater ways than we have ever seen before.

 

The purpose of Pay It Forward Cafe is to provide local residents a weekly opportunity to come together and experience an atmosphere of love that they may not find anywhere else.  Many of our patrons come to us from challenging circumstances and are in need of a helping hand.  Each week, we greet them with a free meal and a place to enjoy the fellowship of others who genuinely care for them.

 

Our goal with Pay It Forward Cafe is simply to help people move forward in their life.  We are committed to not only helping them at their point of need, but also to assist them in the process of growing and learning through their circumstances. When I contemplate all the stories and testimonies I’ve heard from those who have experienced Pay It Forward Cafe, I am amazed at what God can do through the smallest efforts.  While there is never an ulterior motive to our outreach endeavors, there is always an ultimate motive, and that is to share the love of Jesus Christ as much as we can in a real, practical way.  Nothing more, nothing less.
