Last month, Community Ambassadors hosted another Father & Kid Free Movie Night at the Parma Snow Library’s 400-seat, theatre-style auditorium.  Close to 100 dads and kids from the Parma area came out and enjoyed a fun evening of popcorn and a big-screen showing of The LEGO Movie.  Through the HEROES Fatherhood Initiative, Community Ambassadors strives to continue promoting responsible fatherhood throughout the community and creating fun opportunities for dads to stay engaged with their kids.

The next HEROES event will be a Father & Kid Bowling Night at Yorktown Lanes in Parma Heights.  The event will be held on Friday, August 1 from 6:00-8:30 PM.  The cost of the bowling is free, with the exception of shoe rentals and concessions.  It is bound to be another great time!  We encourage all the churches in the Parma area to help us promote these events at a community level.  By doing so, we build awareness and support for local fathers and we better our community.
