Box Runners is a food outreach service that will begin January, 2015, to Parma area residents that are in need of food assistance.  The Box Runner program will replace the Pay It Forward Cafe program during the months of January t0 March.

The concept of Box Runners is to have volunteers rescue food items that are discarded from area restaurants and food establishments, avoiding unnecessary waste of good food.  We will then convert the food items we collect into simple meals that will then be distributed in, you guessed it, boxes.  The distribution of food will occur twice a month and is free to the recipient.
