Connection Newsletter AUGUST 2013
by Jeremy Kiner, Co-Director
Each Saturday, 60-70 patrons grace the door of Pay It Forward Cafe at Parmatown Mall. Whether it’s for the food, the fellowship, or simply the inviting atmosphere of hope and love, people young and old have found the Cafe to be an oasis, where their faith is built, both in humanity and in a God who can touch their every need.
Homework Help
Is Coming Back!
With the support of Parma Heights Baptist Church, the weekly Homework Help center will be back in full swing this fall. Starting September 11, each Wednesday from 7:15-8:15 PM, homework helpers will be at Parmatown Mall in the Community Ambassadors' space to assist children grades 1-8 with their homework assignments.
Where to Next?
What an incredible night of fun, fishing, and a bunch of dads making lifelong memories with their kids! On Friday, August 2, Community Ambassadors partnered with Lakeview Church of God for another great HEROES Father & Kid event. Thankfully the rain held off long enough to squeeze in a couple hours of good fishing.
Almost every week, we get asked the question, “Are you moving out of Parmatown Mall?” Since the beginning of the year, our answer has remained the same, “Most likely, but just not sure when.” The reality is, with the first phase of construction now underway on the Parmatown Plaza, we know that change is imminent.
